IT STARTS WITH -

An endless passion for music, for voices,
for discovery, for people, for life.

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Commercial Vocal Performance at Belmont University in Nashville, TN where she studied nearly every style of contemporary music. She later went on to get her Masters of Music degree at California Baptist University in Classical Vocal Performance and Conducting where her love for opera was ignited by her late voice teacher, Betty Olsson.

Some of her favorite roles, productions, and experiences are when she played the role of Mrs. Lovett opposite Norman Large in Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd with the Golden State Pops Orchestra in Los Angeles, the role of Martha of Bethany in Rob Gardner’s Lamb of God in Salt Lake City, touring China for a week of solo concerts music directed by Mike Kestler on piano, premiering a new musical in the principal role of Mama Grace in An Extra Penny with Signature Inc. in North Carolina, and singing a duet with Kristin Chenoweth at the Hollywood Bowl in 2013 which produced a viral video on YouTube, a TEDx Talk, and an invitation back to the Hollywood Bowl to sing, MC, and host an event.

Sarah spent almost 10 weeks in Europe in Summer 2018 in two different young artist training programs, plus a little time to explore and enjoy the culture, while increasing her vocal skills and language skills by studying with international vocal faculty in the company of other talented young artists. Sarah performed in three concerts in Rome with OC Ars Vocalis Academy and six concerts in various locations in Germany with Oper Oder Spree.

Summer 2019, Sarah joined The Academy of Orvieto in conjunction with Opera Argentario in Orvieto, Italy to perform as Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte. She was also a part of the International Lyric Academy Mozart Program and the Berlin Opera Academy Studio Program and their accompanying concerts. Summer 2021, she returns to Italy as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni.

Since graduate school, Sarah’s full lyric voice is blossoming thanks to studying with Fred Carama, who is helping her transition into new vocal material for her growing voice. Sarah is a tenacious singer who learns quickly and devours musical material and foreign language diction, propelled toward her goal of becoming a polished music professional.
